&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Make a mental note of this step though -&amp;gt; "Ubuntu distro uses dash instead of bash as shell, then change it to bash:", it probably won't hurt you, but there are some differences in scripting across the two shells.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But either way, I followed the instructions exactly, then ltib worked fine.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>ltib build error</title>

&lt;P&gt;I am performing ltib build operation as shown in &amp;nbsp;the step 4 in section 2.2 in the document that i have attached.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;but this error is coming&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;"ltib can not run because one or more host packages needed to run it are either missing or out of date or not in ltib's standard path" .&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;i am a newbie :( ..can any one help me ?&lt;/P&gt;
