topic Screen rotation with X in i.MX Processors

Hi, I'm running X server applications on i.MX53 SABRE-AI.

OpenGLES/OpenVG acceleration works nicely when I run sample applications (es11ex or tiger) without rotation. However, when I rotate screen with xrandr -o 1, then FPS drops significantly and cpuload rises.

The question is, what rotation method could I use to still be able run OpenGLES/OpenVG applications smoothly?
