topic Hi, Dan Wang in i.MX Processors

i.MX7 evaluation board generates PCIe clock from external clock source, can it derive the PCIe clock internally from PLL ? We prefer internal clock for PCIe ( using as root complex ) to avoid extra clock chip on board. If external clock is really required, in that case can we connect i.MX7 CCM differential clock output to the PCIe ref clock IN pin of i.MX7 ?

Gaurang Desai.

We do not have any i.mx7 materials by now, so no support for it. You'd better to contact your FAE first. If no answer, you can try the phone support here Sales and Support|NXP .
