Hardware Device Tree Editor tool for iMX6

I am new to free-scale family and was thinking to use hardware device tree editor for customizing soc and other board peripherals. I am not sure if the QCVS tool support this fmaily of processor .

Can some body guide here ?

Hello Shrawan,

Can you please show me the Tool that you are planning to be used? . We do not have any graphics or GUI Tool, for the Device Tree source be modified, we use DTB Tool to modified and compile the DTS file.

Hello Jaime,

I am also trying to use DTB tool (QorIQ plugins in eclipse). But I am blocked here (see picture below) , I am not getting iMX6 processor in the list?

Is iMX series not supported by this tool for creating dts file?

Hello,

That tool is for QorIQ processors, you can’t use it for i.MX
devices. There is not tool for i.MX.
