[Android 5.0.2] The 3G function is fail in imx6.

Hi Freescale

We tried to enable 3G module function in imx6.

Our 3G module is U6300.

I tried to merge (U6300-Android 4.2 version HAL layer) to Android 5.0.

Step1:

When the system boot up in Android, I can get the information in Setting/About tablet/Status. (include Signal strength ,cellular network type , Service state ,IMEI …… )

Step2:

I tried to link and setting APN. Then system reboot.

( debug message will show option1 ttyUSB2: option_instat_callback: error -2 )

I tried to setting Airplane mode is enable.

I send command "pppd connect 'chat -v -s -t 10 "" "AT" "" "ATDT*99#" "CONNECT" ""' user username password password /dev/ttyUSB2 460800 nodetach crtscts debug usepeerdns defaultroute &"in debug console.

I can get ip address and ping google web is pass.

Do you have any advice about 3G function?

Hi Freescale

I already porting 3G module with module company.

But I still cannot link google website.

I can get the device ip address from 3G.

Then I ping google dns is pass.

--> Ping 8.8.8.8

Please open the attachment file about log message.

But the 3G is not connected correctly.

The Exclamation Point Icon on Cellular Data Icon.

When I open browser, I cannot open google or any website.

Do you have any example porting 3G module in Android 5.0.0?

Or do you have success example porting 3G module in imx6 Android 5.0.0?
