HOW TO USE GPIO

I have been using sabre i.mx6q EVB. I do not know the use of the beginner and the GPIO CPU.

I received from the input GPIO (KEY_COL4) I want to on the HIGH output GPIO (EIM_D30).
Tell us if you have a simple example.
