      <title>SoC's I/I vs Processing Speed</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;I am looking for a 1.6 GHz or faster SoC with at least 6 UARTs (among other features). &lt;/SPAN&gt;I found one with 6 UARTs but it runs at 1 GHz:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt; i.MX 6Solo (Cortex A9, Cortex M4) with 6 UARTs, but this runs at 1 GHz: &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;&lt;A href="http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/brochure/FLYRIMXPRDCMPR.pdf"&gt;http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/brochure/FLYRIMXPRDCMPR.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="color: #000000; font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;I am finding that it is common to use a LPC (Low Pin Count) bus and add on I/O / Super I/O / Controller Hubs to add additional I/O support.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"&gt;I would like to minimize development with these features integrated into the chip. There are a few others out there that come close but I still haven't found what I am looking for.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"&gt;Does anyone have any recommendations ?
