    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had the same problem on a host running Slackware 14.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Googling I found the solution, at least for me, in this thread: &lt;A href="http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/ltib/2012-01/msg00010.html" title="http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/ltib/2012-01/msg00010.html"&gt;[Ltib] skipping incompatible /lib/libc.so.6&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it works for you, I think it's a better fix than relinking the toolchain libraries.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Setting up LTIB - Fedora 16 - libc.so.6 incompatible and not found</title>

LTIB was already successfully installed on a Ubuntu 10.04 machine. We have to change:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;@ARGV = grep { `file $_` =~ m,ASCII C program text, } @ARGV;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;to&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;@ARGV = grep { `file $_` =~ m,ASCII\s+.*text, } @ARGV;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;on files:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;ltib&amp;gt;/dist/lfs-5.1/base_libs/base_libs.spec&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;ltib&amp;gt;/dist/lfs-5.1/glibc/glibc-2.3.2.spec&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;ltib&amp;gt;/dist/lfs-5.1/glibc/glibc.spec&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rogerio&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
