I have one doubt ubuntu version 12.04 support for imx-lib-3.10.17.bb .Like this what about 14.04 for which inx-lib.bb file will support.

yes ubuntu 12.04 can be used for building 3.10.17 linux, this is described in attached

Freescale Yocto Project User's Guide, Rev L3.10.17_1.0.0-ga 05/2014,

sect.3.1 Host packages.
