Thanks Amanda, I used the ethernet tool in the bootloader to program

the SD card. CE7 looks very quick on this platform. Good luck with

your projects.

Regards,

Larry

Has anybody used the Manufacturing Tool to load WINCE7 to SABRE Tablet?

I've tried but my XP PC is unable to recognise the Tablet. I've tried in bootstrap mode, and mode where I boot from SD card and remove SD card, but get USB device error.

I'm confident the PC is configured correctly as it recognises i/MX53 QSB in similar mode.

Hi,

I also could not get the Manf tool connected to my PC. It

does not describe what kind of cable (I used an A to A) is needed or which

port to hook it too. My software guru helped me first download

the bootloader and then the image file. This is normally how we did it on our

iMX31 designs. We still have a bug that the tablet needs an ethernet cable

attached to the debug board before you boot. It is looking for the network

and gets stuck if it doen't find one. You can disconnect it once you have booted,

Definitely hook up Teraterm to the debug board serial port to see what's happening.

We haven't got the WAN to work yet either.

Good Luck!

Larry
