LCD display Flickering

Hello All,

We are using imx233 processor and LCD display with the spec:

Resolution:320*240

Bus width:16bit

pixel clock:6MHz

LCD Display will start to flicker when control is transferred from bootloader to O.S , where frame buffer starting address will be changed . Please let me known is their any solution to over come this problem.

Hi Kishore

one can try approach described on

Patch to support uboot logo keep from uboot to kernel to Android for JB4.2.2_1.1.0-GA and L3.0.35_4.1.0-GA BSP (HDMI, LCD and LVDS)

though I am not aware of similar patch for i.MX23.

Other option move lcd initialization to kernel phase, making bootloader as short as

possible.
