SABRE hannstar touch screen failure

Hello,

I have a IMX53 SABRE with hannstar touchscreen but the Touch screen functionality is not working. The GNome comes up and goes to calibrate mode but now we are not able to perform calibration.Here input is not taken at all. Please suggest

Kernel version=2.6.35.3-998-ga1cd8a7

Can you see any device like /dev/input/eventX?

Can you get any event on evtest?

I tried evtest /dev/input/ts0 and recognizes the touch screen driver. I have attached the log for the any touch event also.

But Touch screen doesn't function.

Also attached the log for ts_print_raw log.

Hi Swamy,

I am facing the exact problem with the board i.MX53 SABRE SMD.

Booted with linux with Kernel version=2.6.35.3-998-ga1cd8a7.

Touch screen is not functioning.

Output of ts_print_raw command shows all 0's.

Did you get progress in this ?

Please suggest me on how to proceed on this.

I started using 11.05 kernel.

Also we need to kill the process ts_calibrate to actually go to the screen.

The calibrated values are

/usr/etc/pointercal
2053 18 -966512 16 1548 -942520 65536^@

Currently, I am using 11.03 version. I will start building 11.05 today.

Beside, I didn't fine the file called /usr/etc/pointercal in the existing 11.03 version.

I tried with 11.05 build version, but not luck.

touch pad is not functioning.

Touch screen is working fine with 11.05 build images.

Applied a patch to egalax driver as given in the below link:

Here is correct link I.MX53 Qt LVDS display
