So, in the bootcmd, there will loading the zImage to memory first. e.g. you can load the zImage from MMC or load from the network through tftp. Then create the final 'bootargs'. Then the 'bootargs' pass to the kernel. It will be the kernel command line.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In your case, the bootargs&amp;nbsp; = console=ttymxc1,115200 root=/dev/nfs ip=dhcp nfsroot=:,v3,tcp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The board is booting from NFS. But the path of nfsroot is missing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can find more example and information from the i.MX Linux User Guide.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
