Hi,

I'm trying to implement digital zoom of camera image using cropping by IPU. This seems to be already implemented by current BSP (running 3.0.35 kernel) with V4L2 command VIDIOC_S_CROP. But when I try to use this the timings(?) gets wrong with the result that preview stream is showing the same image multiple times but smaller (eg. image is shown 4*2 times when crop set to half width/height) while slowly scrolling.

Has anyone here had any luck with using IPU to implement digital zoom?

Hi, unfortunately not, I did some tests but was unable to do the 5MP crop by the IPU, then other tasks got higher priority so it's still on the to-do list.
