Question, i.MX233 power supply

Hi team,

I would like to ask about power supply feature of i.MX233.

Could you show me the settings for using internal linear regulator outputs of i.MX233 and stopping internal DCDC outputs?

In my customer’s understanding, to stop DCDC output;

- ENABLE_DCDC bit should be cleared.

To use internal linear regulators;

- 5V should be present.

- ENABLE_LINREG bit should be set.

To adjust offset voltage of the linear regulator output;

- set LINREG_OFFSET bits

00 : no offset

01 : +25mV

1x : -25mV

Is above correct?

If any missing, please let me know.

shortly, yes in general understanding is right. Also one

needs to set DISABLE_STEPPING and set TRG -

voltage level of the linreg supply.
