Dear All,

I have a query regarding the source selection.

I am not clear about the differences between the freescale sources, linaro sources for imx53qsb.

which has to be used for what requirements? how to opt for one? is there any measures for that?

can we use combination these two in one qsb system, eg. kernel from free scale, rootfs from linaro ..etc.

kindly give any pointers to understand better.

There is no well defined interfaces about repositories and responsibilities.

I think Freescale delivers general platform for various i.mx CPUs. And Linaro adds specific implementations to QSB and Android.

What you have described seems to be a riskier task and will take much time. Also you will probably go through board bring up procedure again. But also will add lots of knowhow.
