If yes then what have to be done to get it working?

Regards

Matthias

Starting with our recent 3.10.53-1.1.0 GA release that just came out it is possible to mix and match kernels starting this release (but with graphics from previous releases like 3.10.17). We separated out the graphics kernel driver into a loadable module. Now we made this change so customers in future would have ability to mix and match graphics releases with other kernels (only starting with 3.10.53) but did not consider it being used for community kernels. However it should work - we've just not tried it.
