Hi all,

I'm new to i.MX Boards and hardware-related topics. I have to dim a LED using one of the two PWM's. As I know they are accessible via pin 78 and pin 80 of the expansion head.

How can I "write" to the PWM? Do I need a driver? Can I access it via /dev/ ?

I code my program in Java. Is there a Java package for accessing PWMs? I just found JControl which seems to have a package form PWM's, but JControl has it's own VM and i want to use de default VM.

Thanks for any information!
