    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to force the i.MX28 to boot with the USB recovery mode before it tries the SSP0?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think something like&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I.mx28 power on --&amp;gt; usb recovery mode --&amp;gt; any mfgtool for update there?&amp;nbsp; ...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(yes) --&amp;gt; update&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(no) --&amp;gt; boot from SD(eMMC)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;one possible solution I have found is to set at every boot a HW_RTC_PERSISTENT bit to boot at the next boot in usb recovery mode but is there any other way?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;best regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
