Hi community,

Our partner have a question about i.MX6SDL CCM.

Please see CCM_CLK_SRC_DIV description in Table 18-1 of IMX6SDLRM Rev.1.

It says "These output clocks are connected to the pads and can provide support for testing."

Then, they want to confirm the meaning of "can provide support for testing".

Can freescale guarantee the CLKO output for test only?

Or can freescale guarantee the output for any usage?

Actually, they are using CLKO2 for audio master clock on their custom board, but sometimes CLKO output stops.

So they want to confirm the support range of CLKO at first whether freescale can support their usage.

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda

Hi Satoshi

you are right: formally speaking these signals are for testing, also

there are parameters for them in Datasheet. From Table 18-1. CCM Sub-blocks IMX6SDLRM :

..two output clocks, CCM_CLKO1 and CCM_CLKO2, for observability.

These output clocks are connected to the pads and can provide support for testing.

Best regards

igor

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
