OTG connection when used as device

I am using I.MX6 in one of my boards, I believe the USB_OTG_VBUS(pin E9) of I.MX6 need not be connected to 1st pin of OTG connector if I.MX6 OTG is intended to be used as device.

Only the data lines and GND connection is sufficient for communication, isnt?

Please let me know whether my understanding is correct.

Hi Vignesh

yes this is correct, in general VBUS is not needed for normal operation

of i.MX6 USB module. However in any way voltage should be provided to LDO_USB,

using one of two signals: USB_HI_VBUS or USB_OTG_VBUS
