    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P style="margin-bottom: 1em; font-size: 15px; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; background-color: #fffef9;"&gt;I am using I.MX6 in one of my boards, I believe the USB_OTG_VBUS(pin E9) of I.MX6 need not be connected to 1st pin of OTG connector if I.MX6 OTG is intended to be used as &lt;STRONG&gt;device&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-bottom: 1em; font-size: 15px; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; background-color: #fffef9;"&gt;Only the data lines and GND connection is sufficient for communication, isnt?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-bottom: 1em; font-size: 15px; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; background-color: #fffef9;"&gt;Please let me know whether my understanding is correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Vignesh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;yes this is correct, in general VBUS is not needed for normal operation&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;of i.MX6 USB module. However in any way voltage should be provided to LDO_USB,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;using one of two signals: USB_HI_VBUS or USB_OTG_VBUS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Figure 50-1.
