will imx25 support ext3 filesystem

Dear All,

I am using linux 2.6.31 kernel with freescale BSP downloaded from freescale imx25 product page only.

will that officially released kernel 2.6.31 support ext3 file system ? .

if not what I need to do to change file system to ext3.

as of now as per official document i am using ext2 file system.

yes it supports it, please refer to p.27 attached document:

8.Format the MMC/SD partitions as ext3 type

root@freescale ~$ mkfs.ext3 /dev/mmcblk0p1
