Sorry for nooby questions. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am C++ programmer, but I'm totally new in freescale stuff, and unfortunately I'm not too much familiar with linux... &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, let't move to merits: &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What I finally need is working linux platform with sample program in Qt, which uses SQLite. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How is the easiest way to do it ? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will try the images you posted and will write about the effcts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>i.MX28 linux boot problem</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have i.MX28 EVK. I try to start OS from SD0 from provided SC cards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;WINCE start with no problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When i try to boot from ubuntu SD, only penguin appears on left up corner, nothing else happens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't figure out when the problem is, i make new SD card according to instruction on CD (virtual machine, etc.. )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but result is the same. It is possible that something is wrong with hardware ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please, help! Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know which linux is on SDs, however, it doesn't matter, it just doesnt work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After power on, i see only the penguin icon and black screen. nothing else happens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no terminal or somethink which give me ability to interact with the device.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Someone could describe how linux boot process should look and what is the final state on the screen after booting ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I try to boot on linux SD card provided by producer, and also on own SD with linux created using provided DVD. Effects are the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ok, i have used DEBUG UART cable and HyperTerminal, i was successfull logged in as root. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So it is working, but on VGA Display still only penguin is visible. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is possible to install own linux build with some GUI which will appear on VGA Display? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In video tutorial after boot some window and folders are visible on VGA... &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
