iMX6Q Serial Downloader bootmode problem

Hi,

im using iMX6Q device and set next boot mode - BOOT_MODE[1:0] = 0b01.

I connect USB cable to PC and to OTG1, but no activity on PC (checked by USB View utility).

Im able to connect with JTAG to Cortex-A9 core and step in BootROM.

Please give me right direction, where i should check.

Hi Artsiom

if you have jtag one can run USB Device SDK test

(imitate iROM in some manner)

Also please check Chapter 8 Avoiding Board Bring-up Problems

Also it may be recommended to test with other computers, preferably with Windows XP.

I checked with JTAG - PLLs are not started!

How BootROM should configure it? (Maybe exist dependence from Config pins?)

It is interesting.

However is something work at all ?

For example, had you luck to run with jtag small code

from SDK and toggle fore example GPIO ?

I attached very small test (based on SDK) one can try it.

Yes, i can start code in RAM (0x0090 0000). My little software relase Ethernet PHY from reset by GPIO.

ARM core is working, but only at 24MHz

I think you can check with oscilloscope

signals on NVCC_PLL_OUT,

VDD_ARM_CAP LDO and other LDOs.
