(Freescale’s i.MX53QSB does use a DA9053 but does not make use of the RTC and rather has a 32kHz crystal connected to the i.MX53 oscillator).</P><P></P><P>However, Freescale’s i.MX53 Start-R board uses a MC34708 PMIC to generate the RTC and then it feeds it to the i.MX53 processor.
