You can use Embedded Trace Buffer (16kB) and access it via JTAG. Or you can use Trace port interface and up to 16 bits trace lines (pins alt function in IOMUX). So you can use Lauterbach of DSTREAM for trace to their bigger buffers. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/Jiri&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>i.MX6 trace connection</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any application note regarding the ARM trace connection on i.MX6 series for connecting DSTREAM or Lauterbach PowerTrace? None of the demo boards (SABRESDB, SABREAI) count with trace connection, they have only JTAG connector. Does the trace even work on i.MX6?
