      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to verify USB-I/F for the i.MX6 original board.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Isn't the utility for a USB compliance test in somewhere?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* I use USB as a host on linux.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If there are some good ideas, please let me know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;George&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Please note that there is no special software needed to generate the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;test pattern. The USB controller is compliant with the EHCI specification.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The test modes are set by the PTC bits in the PORTSC register (bits 19-16).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PTC = 0x4 will force the controller to send the test packet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Prior to setting the test mode, the controller must be initialized in the same&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;way as for normal operation. If the controller is running, the driver must first&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;stop the asynchronous and synchronous schedules and stop the controller&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(USBCMS.RS = 0).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then the PTC bits can be set for the desired test mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Yuri&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
