How to prevent Tearing.

Hi all,

Now, we have released the product using i.MX535.

The product works by WEC7 (Adeneo BSP Base).

However, the product has a problem.

By the application of Silverlight or Win32, Tearing occurs by scrolling etc.

We are calling DisplayWaitForVSync in DDIPU::VidmemToVidmemBlt function.

$(_WINCEROOT)\platform\Pro-IS\SRC\DRIVERS\IPUV3\DDRAW\ddipu_blt.cpp

Furthermore, we are using the Synchronous Access mode described in iMX53 reference manual (8.2.1.2.1.1 Synchronous Access).

It occurs also on i.MX53-QSB.

Is there any person who encountered the same condition some?

Where should it investigate from?

If there is a solution or a hint, please let me know it.

Dear Karina,

Thank you for the reply.

However, the same condition occurs also on i.MX51EVK.

A bus bandwidth may be insufficient.

S/W tuning is tried for a while.

If there's anything that comes to your attention about that please let me know.
