For X11 you may use a benchmark like glmark2-es2

Some commands you can run that may be helpful are:

$ DISPLAY=:0 glxgears

$ DISPLAY=:0 es2gears_x11

$ DISPLAY=:0 glmark2-es2

$ DISPLAY=:0 glmark2-es2 –fullscreen

I would recommend looking at these links for reference on testing X11 and fb:
