Thank you for your reply. I am able to power it on.
Also for serial console setup only the CH343USB works ? The picocom will not work similar to IMX95 EVK.

I am going through the getting started and cannot find anywhere mentioning the voltage rating. Can we use the 12V supply provided for iMX95 Verdin EVK for the FRDM. Only a C to C cable has been provided and no other power supply is provided with the kit.
Kindly let me know if anyone is working with the FRDM kit

No — you should NOT use a 12 V power supply on the FRDM‑i.MX95 board.
The FRDM‑i.MX95 is designed to be powered via USB Type‑C with USB‑PD, not a fixed 12 V DC input.

Can you please specify the power rating of the PD used. Is it 12V ? Can you please verify and let us know. Thanks

There is NO fixed 12 V requirement specified

The only requirement is:

Use a USB‑PD adapter ≥ 65 W

The FRDM‑i.MX95 board uses a CH344 USB‑to‑UART bridge, not an FTDI device like the i.MX95 EVK.

You can use standard terminal tools such as picocom, minicom, or screen. There is no restriction to a specific “CH343 tool”.

If picocom does not work, the issue is usually related to: - selecting the correct /dev/ttyUSBx port (the CH344 exposes multiple UARTs), or - missing or incompatible CH34x driver on the host. The serial console configuration is standard (115200-8N1).
