Hi Guys,

we use your MX8ULP_DDR_Tool to check our LPDDR4x design. I have a question regarding the tool. Is the code that runs the tests located in the internal ram of 8ulp? When I run the stress test on several boards, I see that sometimes the tools hangs without an error or message from the cpu in the terminal.

Hello,

The tool is running on the PC side which downloads a test image to the i.MX series processor’s internal RAM through a USB connection.

Hi Jorge,

this was also my understanding. So the external RAM is only for testing and it should not matter if there is something wrong, the image should run. I would expect some error messages when there is a test that fails. But what I see is, that the test image stops running. Is there a way to check if the image is still running over the serial port?

to narrow it in another way, can NXP provide a list of errormessages, that the image can send to the customer? Maybe you can send me a link to the source o the image git?

Hello,

We do not have a list of error messages from the tool.

Usually the error log shows the cause of the issue.
