i.MX Processorsのトピックi.MX95 decoder performance

Hello. I have a question about the performance of the i.MX95 chip.

We are planning to decode and output more than 16 channels of 640×480 @ 30 fps, 600 kbps video on the i.MX95.
(1) Is this possible, and what is the maximum number of channels it supports?

When we used the i.MX8QuadMax, its VPU only supported up to eight simultaneous decoders.
(2) Does the i.MX95 also have a fixed number of hardware decoders like the QuadMax, or is its capacity determined dynamically by overall VPU performance?

Also, with the i.MX8QuadMax we could only use GStreamer (no native decoder API was provided).
(3) Does the i.MX95 offer a dedicated decoder API, or—like the QuadMax—must it be used solely through GStreamer?

Thank you.

Hi,

For video decoding, the h264 decoder support 4k60 max or up to 32 streams.

For VPU simultaneous decoders number, it's decided by maximum DDR bandwith and maximum resolution.

No native decoder API was provided.
