    <description>&lt;P&gt;Refer to The&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/REALTIMEEDGEUG.pdf" target="_self"&gt;Real-time Edge Software User Guide&lt;/A&gt;, I used yocoto to compile avb demo, but&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I encountered this compilation error,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;b2280dccb.so" "-shared" "-Wl,-z,relro,-z,now" "-Wl,-O1" "-nodefaultlibs" "-Wl,-z,origin" "-Wl,-rpath,$ORIGIN/../lib"&lt;BR /&gt;| = note: yocto-real-time-edge/build/tmp/hosttools/ld: cannot find -lstdc++: No such file or directory&lt;BR /&gt;| collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status&lt;BR /&gt;|&lt;BR /&gt;|&lt;BR /&gt;| error: could not compile `rustc_driver` (lib) due to previous error&lt;BR /&gt;|&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERROR: Task (virtual:native:yocto-real-time-edge/sources/poky/meta/recipes-devtools/rust/rust_1.75.0.bb:do_install&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After downloading the code repository I compiled the image using the following command&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DISTRO=nxp-real-time-edge \&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MACHINE=imx93-14x14-lpddr4x-evk&amp;nbsp; \&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;source real-time-edge-setup-env.sh -b build&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;bitbake nxp-image-real-time-edge&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and The machine where I currently compile the code&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LSB Version: core-11.1.0ubuntu4-noarch:security-11.1.0ubuntu4-noarch&lt;BR /&gt;Distributor ID: Ubuntu&lt;BR /&gt;Description: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS&lt;BR /&gt;Release: 22.04&lt;BR /&gt;Codename: jammy&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;cannot find -lstdc++&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;—during the Yocto build for the Real-time Edge Software on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS is typically due to missing development libraries for C++ on the host system.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I would suggest you update the gcc version in your host system.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please install all the required host packages according to UG10164: I.MX Yocto Project User's Guide&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Daniel&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Thanks for your reply,&amp;nbsp;The machine's local gcc was incorrectly set to gcc9 by update-alternatives, and it was modified to gcc11 to compile successfully.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
