The following command to play a .wav file works fine. </P><P></P><P># gst-launch filesrc location=test.wav ! decodebin ! alsasink</P><P></P><P>If I try adding the equalizer-10bands plugin into the pipeline then audio playback starts to stutter badly and CPU usage jumps to 100%.</P><P></P><P># gst-launch filesrc location=test.wav ! decodebin ! equalizer-10bands band0=1.0 ! alsasink</P><P></P><P>The 3 band equalizer is usable but still uses up a lot of CPU.</P><P></P><P>My question is there something I can do to improve the performance?
