Hi Mike, thx for the reply. Is Vulkan driver included in standard yocto Linux build already? Or I need to build with a specific image to include it? I am currently building with “imx-image-multimedia”. Thank you

Hi,

I am wondering if NXP is now having any official demo running the unreal engine with imx? All i found is following:

Solved: IMX8 Unreal andVulkan Error - NXP Community

My understanding is that, by supporting vulkan, imx8/9 should be able to run unreal engine. But so far, never see a real example.

Thank you

Thank you Mike. Based on following document:

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/IMX_GRAPHICS_USERS_GUIDE.pdf

It seems that IMX8 nano, and IMX95 also support Vulkan. However, these two devices are not shown in the Linux release note, the list that you showed. Would you please help to confirm if these two devices are currently supported?

Hi,

You are right. I.MX8M Nano and I.MX95 also support Vulkan 1.3 driver.

I had confirmed with i.MX product team that the Yocto release note has document issue missing both product with Table 8 about GPU relevant content.

We will follow up to correct that release note.
