    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi experts&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i want to boot from spi nor flash,&amp;nbsp; on imx7d&amp;nbsp; sabre board,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so&amp;nbsp; using MikroBus&amp;nbsp; i&amp;nbsp; attached a spi-nor flash, i modified u-boot ( 2022.04 version) to support that flash,&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp;i successfully read, update a spi-nor in u-boot,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;from&amp;nbsp; a user guide , i know&amp;nbsp; imx7d can boot by spi,&amp;nbsp; but i know&amp;nbsp; not what part to change to boot from a spi flash&amp;nbsp; in u-boot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;basically u-boot has SD-boot and qpsi configuration, i tried to use these configuration with fail&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any&amp;nbsp; information will be of great help ,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thank you sincerely&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your boot device is not supported on 7D-SDB, the boot device you are trying to use is:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6.6.5.4 Serial ROM through SPI. &lt;STRONG&gt;i.MX 7Dual Applications Processor Reference Manual, Rev. 1, 01/2018&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There should be another board with the BOOT_CFG available for Serial SPI and make sure that the boot image complies with &lt;STRONG&gt;Figure 6-38. CSPI flow chart&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
