i.MX8MP Software Update via swupdate

Hello,

We seek a firmware update solution for our custom board based on the i.MX8MP. As far as we can tell, the i.MX8MP isn’t supported in the meta-swupdate-imx layer. Are there any patches available in NXP’s repositories that add support for the i.MX8MP in meta-swupdate? Any guidance on achieving firmware updates on this platform would be greatly appreciated.

there is no explanation in how to adapt this AN13872 for imx8mp.
