Error during Yocto Hardknott Build for Variscite DART-MX8M Plus (Kernel 5.10.52) - Patch Application

1. I am attempting to build a Yocto Hardknott (kernel 5.10.52) image for the Variscite DART-MX8M Plus board but encountered an error during the "bitbake" compilation. I followed the necessary setup steps, as outlined, and am seeking guidance on resolving the compilation issue.

2. I would also like to know if configuring U-Boot to load a bare-metal application on the Cortex-A53 core is possible without completing this compilation.

Here are the steps I followed:

1. $ git config --global user.name "Your Name"
$ git config --global user.email "Your Email"
2. $ mkdir -p ~/bin
# For Ubuntu 20.04 and older, install repo 2.32 according to https://gerrit.googlesource.com/git- repo/+/HEAD/docs/python-support.md:
$ curl https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo-2.32 > ~/bin/repo
3. # Give repo execute permissions and add it to the path:
$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
$ export PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. $ mkdir ~/var-fsl-yocto
$ cd ~/var-fsl-yocto
5. $ repo init -u https://github.com/varigit/variscite-bsp-platform.git -b fsl-hardknott -m imx-5.10.52-2.1.0-var01.xml
$ repo sync -j$(nproc)
6. $ cd ~/var-fsl-yocto
$ MACHINE=imx8mp-var-dart DISTRO=fsl-imx-xwayland . var-setup-release.sh -b build_xwayland
7. $ source setup-environment build_xwayland
8. bitbake core-image-sato
