I am trying to build an image with the meta-qt6 feature, but during the Bitbake execution, I encountered the following error. Despite multiple attempts, the issue persists. Could you please help me resolve the error mentioned below?

I am using a versalogic swordtail imx6 with kirkstone and manifest imx-5.15.71-2.2.2.xml

I tried also the "original" 5.15.32-2.0.0 with the same result:

Its a problem of the cracklib changing their github from master to main.

hack: after you get the error (or before on a clean machine), dive into the code, and change master to main
$editor ./layers/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-extended/cracklib/cracklib_2.9.8.bb

higher quality fix: write a bbappend, that changes the SRC_URI... Like we did here back in the day when runc did the same master/main change...

HI all!

As @x85446! mention, the problem is the name of the branch because cracklib doesn´t have master branch the library has instead main branch.

Changing the branch the line Yocto is able to fetch and compile the library without problem.

Now i got the issues with bmap-tools_git.bb source fetching so is there any proper source/repo link to resolve this error.

Hi @Chavira,

I got an issue with the bmap-tools_git.bb file:

virtual:native:/home/calixto_admin/calixto_workdir/ravi/calixto-yocto-bsp/sources/poky/meta/recipes-support/bmap-tools/bmap-tools_git.bb:do_fetch

Solved: I just changed the branch for this.

Now, I'm getting a compile error for the linux-imx_5.15.bb file.

Ref Log Error:

ERROR: Task (/home/calixto_admin/calixto_workdir/ravi/calixto-yocto-bsp/sources/meta-imx/meta-bsp/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-imx_5.15.bb:do_compile) failed with exit code '1'.

I've tried running bitbake imx-image-full multiple times, but the same error keeps appearing. Could you guide me on this issue or provide the appropriate upstream source to resolve it?

I'm also facing same issue, please help me with proper git commit hash ID to resolve it.
