Hi

I am trying to enable OP-TEE on my device, which is based on the i.MX6. According to the porting guide, it mentions that OP-TEE is supported only from the SD card.

Could you please confirm if OP-TEE supports booting from eMMC?

Regards
Vishwa

Hi,

According to official documentation of OP-TEE It mentions

"NXP delivers various open-source software components (NXP OP-TEE OS) for customer enablement, however, these are not provided as secure production-ready implementations"

Could you please elaborate this more and confirm is OP-TEE on NXP can be used on production?

NXP — OP-TEE documentation documentation

Regards

Vishwa

Hi,

It can run on production, the disclaimer might be referrencing this clause of us:

The TEE is only open to trusted partners, which
makes it easier to audit. It executes only trusted and authorized software.

You can find the version available in release notes and also go through the details and features in the porting guide.

Regards,
