Setting time manually

Hi NXP,

Android 13 imx-android-13.0.0_1.2.0

Method 1 : Update automatically

UI -> Setting -> system-> date&time -> select time zone
1) Enable Set time automatically enabled
2) Connected to internet & Select time zone time and date updated and is retained on cold boot and reboot.

Method 2: Update Manually

Time does not retain when we update time.
when we Set Date and Time manually using HDMI UI.
Setting -> system-> date&time
Time and date are updated ;Reflected on Android UI; but the system time reverts to the default during cold boot and reboot.
Please share your input how to retain time

Setting time manually on i.MX8MP EVK board, the time can be saved after rebooting board.

The test is based on Android 13.0.0_2.2.0. Could you test same version?

Time retains when only time is changed ,it doesn't retain if any date is changed along with time on Android 13.0.0_2.2.0(if we set time only manually).

Hi @Shanga

I also changed the date and time without opening setting time automatically and connecting ethernet, the date and time will be retained after reboot.

Before reboot, the time is 9.14 AM, MON OCT 28

After reboot, the time is 9.15 AM, MON OCT 28
