i.MX8M-EVK Bluetooth Audio Streaming

Hi All,

I have currently installed the image Alexa (AVS) Yocto Morty4.9 based on this document: Build Alexa SDK (AVS) image for i.MX8M EVK board (with Yocto Morty, Kernel4.9)

I have successfully connected my phone bluetooth via bluetoothctl command but when I try to stream music from youtube or spotify or local music from phone the output is not through the speakers connected to the iMX8M-EVK but rather my phone speakers.

- My question is if there is another step I need to take in order for the output to be from the speakers that i connected to the iMX8M-EVK and not through my phone.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You need to set this bluetooth as default sound card in the OS.

I have no idea against how to set this bluetooth as a sound card.
