iMX8QM - Pixel data loss from camera capture

Hello community,

I am working with cameras on iMX8QM with Android 12.

When I enable up to 3 cameras at once everything works fine and I am able to preview the camera image.

But when 4 cameras are enable I get the following error message from ISI
mxc-isi 58100000.isi: mxc_isi_irq_handler, IRQ Panic OFLW Error stat=0x40040200 from CHNL_STS register

It suggests to increase the AXI bus priority for the Y/RGB channel.
Can you please guide me to where I can change the AXI bus priority?

It also refers to "The threshold for this panic interrupt can be set in the CTRL2 register"
Where can I find the CTRL2 register? I could not identify it in the source code

This issue cause some pixel data to be lost as can be seen on the picture below

Which exactly error are you seeing? if the pixel loss check your dtb.

Thanks for your answer.

This is the error that I am seeing all the time as the camera preview is enabled. Looking at the datasheet it suggests that I increase the AXI bus priority for the Y/RGB channel.

But I don't know how to change that parameter.

Update: Using 2 data lanes instead of 4 solved the issue
