I hope you are doing well.

Could you please share the schematics regarding to the LED and translators?

Also, please tell me if you are trying to do it with Cortex M or Cortex A.

Also, GPIO3_IO16 has not PWM functionality on i.MX8MP, Could you please clarify.

Hi
We are controlling an LED Board using SYS_STATUS pin (GPIO3 IO16) as PWM function, LED Board control pin is in 5V power domain, so we are using two stage translator from 1.8V to 3.3V, 3.3V to 5V.

Before connecting the translator we were able to toggle the gpio pin, But after connecting with translator we are not able to do the same. How do we achieve this.?

Hello,

Also it is helpful to take measures from GPIO to the input of the translator and output of the translator, we need to check the chain.

Also, I would like to know, what is the reason to use two translators instead of just one?

One more thing, it appears this LED is NZR communication, it is difficult to achieve from Cortex M, so, I guess you are using Cortex A?

Best regards,
