i.MX ProcessorsのトピックiMX 8QuadXPlus as PCIe endpoint

Hi,

We want to develop an iMX 8QuadXPlus based solution for our custom design. We intend to connect the iMX 8QuadXPlus based PCIe card to the PC. We want our solution based on Linux BSP. We have few questions:

1 Does Linux BSP for iMX platform support iMX 8QuadXplus configured as PCIe endpoint?

2 Is there any reference board on which we can evaluate the PCIe endpoint functionality for iMX 8QuadXplus? It is okay with us to use reference board for iMX 8Q family of processors. We want to evaluate the reference board as PCIe endpoint.

Thanks,

Kalpesh

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,

i.MX 8 QuadXPlus supports PCIe in NXP BSP, both RC and EP roles but DMA transfers, you'd need to create a TC for it.

For HW, we cannot offer the material to perform the test; nor between i.MX nor i.MX to PC. You can use a FPC cable and optionally an adapter for PCIe/miniPCIe connectors.

Regards
