Unable to uniquely identify each processor IC by some hardcoded pre-assigned unique-ID. This was available in the earlier version of NXP processors where the identifier was named as Controller-Number.

Is there a way to extract this unique number through software ?

cat /sys/devices/soc0/serial_number

This works on Hardknott, but not on Sumo.

Is there solution for Sumo based operating system?
