Plug usb 3.0 camera into imx8mq get error

BSP : Yocto 4.14.98_2.0.0

I plug an usb 3.0 camera into imx8mqevk board , it will get error as below

[ 204.132368] usb usb2-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?

[ 205.808374] usb usb2-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?

Could you tell me how to fix this issue?

Hello Charles,

I have verified USB 3.0 device connecting to USB 3.0 port on MX8M, there is no problem, it worked normally.

Probably there is problem with USB cable, we have several USB cables, some can work, but some cannot. and that error appears.

But we have already test different cable as below

USB 3.0 cable(3m/50cm) , it's fail

Then we insert USB 3.0 HDD, it's okay

And we test the camera on i.MX 8X , it's work well

Are there any other suggestions?
