Wait for Known USB Device Appear...

Hi all,

I have this : https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/i-mx-evaluation-and-development-boards/i-mx-8m-plus-evaluation-kit-enabling-power-measurement:8MPLUSLPD4-PEVK

I tried to flash an android on a sd card as mention in the documents and just get this:

"Wait for Known USB Device Appear... at path /dev/ttyUSB6"

I am on Linux Ubuntu 22.04.

Anybody know what the issue could be? other post did not help,

Boot switches set to 0001 as described,

command is:

sudo ./uuu_imx_android_flash.sh -f imx8mp -a -e -D ./ -t sd -d mipi-panel -usb /dev/ttyUSB6

I think it is USB6 because this is where the UART was comming from.

Thank you for contacting NXP Support!

To flash your EVK board you have to connect the USB C (PORT1) of your board to the host computer and then turn on the board with the sw4 in download mode.

I recommend reading the Android Quick Start guide to understand how to flash your board
