Run NXP AOSP image on Android Emulator based on x64 host machine

Hi,
I am trying to run the NXP AOSP image (Android 12.1.0_1.0.0 (L5.15.52_2.1.0 BSP) i.MX 8M Plus EVK) on android emulator as currently the 8MPLUSLPD4-PEVK board is not available due to logistic reasons.

The NXP AOSP image is based on ARM from what I understand, but I want to run it on emulator on my local Ubuntu system which is based on x64 architecture. While booting up the android automotive emulator with the above mentioned NXP image, I am getting this issue:
error: AVD's configuration is missing a kernel file

Is it possible to run NXP AOSP image on a x64 based android automotive emulator?

Do you mean these images https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/android-automotive-os-for-i-mx-applications-processors:ANDROID-AUTO?

These are only for the i.MX8QM and i.MX8QXP.
