Hi,

I am planning to find a evalulation board which can support embedded hypervisor functionality.

Dose i.mx6 evaluation board work for me. I also need one TFT carrier board which supports this evaluation board.

Can you suggest me the board (evaluation board with TFT) and the estimated price.

Hi @mshanka1!

No you can't port the Xen hypervisor since it requires an ARM processor with Virtualization instructions like the Cortex-A15 or Cortex-A7. The Cortex-A9 of the i.MX6 doesn't have those instructions.

https://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Xen_ARM_with_Virtualization_Extensions

I recommend to check our iMX8 evaluation kits for this job.

Best regards!

I have identified i.MX8QuadMax EVK which supports xen hypersivor.

Is this correct? Is this the only board or any i.MX8 eval kits support xen hypervisor?

Yes, the board supports Xen hypervisor, but I have to mention that Xen hypervisor is not provided by NXP and we don't support that software if you need help implementing this software to the board we can’t help you.

Best Regards!
Chavira

We don´t have an LVDS panel for our board probably you can buy one outside of NXP.

We only have this panel available for the iMX8QM MEK board

https://www.nxp.com/part/MX8-DSI-OLED1A#/
